And what is her style of wedding and family photography? I am Stephanie Bailly and Photographiez Votre Histoire – which is French for Photograph your Story- is my Melbourne-based studio specialising in wedding and family photography. I love documenting stories about people – your story. I grew up in Cannes on the French Riviera ( in the South of France). I studied cinema and photography in Cannes, and after obtaining my diploma in Photography I moved to Paris where I completed advanced training in photography and begin to be an assistant photograph at the prestigious studio daylight. I live in Paris for over 10 years, and it was here that I started my career as a fashion/advertising photographer. I also modeled for the ford Agency Europe. Working on both sides of the camera gave me the unique experience of knowing what it’s like to be on the other side of the lens ( so I know how you feel!)I have lived in Melbourne with my beautiful daughter Loup for 11 years. During my time in Paris, I developed a love for ‘reportage photography – Les vrais gens et la culture’ ( photographing real people and culture). I like my photography projects to reflect my passion for storytelling. My love for meeting real people and sharing their love stories brings me so much joy. I describe my photography style as natural, relaxed, and elegant. I document weddings and family in relaxed and authentic images instead of traditional studio posed settings. I don’t force moment. This approach is called lifestyle photography. I love to capture weddings, newborns, and families in real situations, in a familiar environment like at home or in a beautiful outdoor space, I am obsessed with soft and natural light, but I am of course comfortable working with any sort of lighting! Lifestyle photography is perfect if you are looking for authentic photographs that capture your true spirit. Wedding and family photos are timeless treasures that will love and can share with those close to you for years to come.
